The Story of Stuff is a short film posted on YouTube suggesting that as a society, we are too selfish, produce too much "stuff" (due in large part to the profit-motive), and have created an unhealthy society.
To enter The Story of Good Stuff Contest, create an animated (mixed-media may be included) short film, no longer than 15 minutes, offering an alternative viewpoint that challenges the notions laid out in The Story of Stuff. The target audience for the film is the general public, with a particular focus on 16-26 year olds. If the entry is a collaborative effort, please supply a team name and list of all collaborators.
Examples of things to consider are:
How does 'stuff' make our lives better?
How does 'stuff' help us live longer?
How does the creation of new 'stuff' improve human societies?
Grand Prize: $25,000
Finalists receive $1,500 each, and each finalist's sponsoring university
receives a $1,500 scholarship (if applicable)

Registration: June 15, 2014-December 31, 2014
Submission: April 1-April 30, 2015
