How to enter the Next Director Award
Before entering have a look at the entry rules.
Check the How to Enter guide for the material requirements, submission formats, file specs and additional supporting information you need to supply.
Upload your film to YouTube, you'll need a link to your film on YouTube when you submit your entry online.
Create your D&AD account
Go here and sign up for your Free Membership on www.dandad.org.
Log in to your account and go to 'Next Director Awards 2015'.
Creating your Entry
Start by uploading your film to the Media Library. This can take a little while, so do this first.
Go to the Dashboard and click on Create a New Entry.
Fill out the Entry Details sections. Include as much information as possible about your work in the supporting information fields.
Attach a cover image to your entry, this will be used to represent the work if it's awarded.
On the Formats & Parts tab, attach your film to the entry and input the link to your work on YouTube.
One the entry is complete it will move into the Ready for Payment tab on the dashboard. Select the entry and click on 'Pay for selected entries'.
Once the entry is confirmed and paid for, it will move into the Paid tab. And that's it!
Entry Deadline:
Enter your work by deadline day February 17 or risk a late charge
Extended Deadline:
Entries received after 17 February will incur a 20% surcharge

17 to 24 April, an exciting week of judging alongside our exclusive five day festival
